Overview
The Hunza Batura Glacier Trek is a remote and wild journey in upper Hunza, offering a unique chance to explore the Batura Wall and surrounding 7,000 m peaks.
Starting from Passu Village, the trail passes through shepherd settlements, flower-filled meadows, and moraines of the Batura Glacier, before reaching Yashpirt (3,400 m), the traditional summer pasture and campsite for this trek.
Trekkers enjoy close-up views of the Batura massif, Passu Sar, Shispare, Ultar Sar, and other giants while encountering yaks, ibex, marmots, and abundant alpine flora.
This trek is challenging but non-technical, making it an excellent alternative to Baltoro and Concordia for those who want raw wilderness and solitude in Hunza.
