Overview

The Fairy Meadows Trek is Pakistan’s most famous short trek, offering stunning alpine scenery and epic views of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m).

Starting with a thrilling jeep ride from Raikot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway to Tato Village, trekkers hike for just a few hours to reach Fairy Meadows (3,300 m) — a lush green plateau at the foot of the “Killer Mountain.

From Fairy Meadows, trekkers can take day hikes to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (~4,000 m), with panoramic views of glaciers, ridges, and the mighty north face of Nanga Parbat.

This trek is short and relatively easy, making it accessible to families, beginners, and those seeking a cultural and scenic escape rather than a full-scale expedition.
