Overview
The Naltar Valley Trek is a short and easy trek that combines lush alpine meadows, pine forests, and glacial lakes with the backdrop of towering Karakoram peaks.
Located just an hour’s drive from Gilgit, Naltar Valley is famous for its vibrant blue and green lakes, known locally as Satrangi Lakes, which change colors with the light.
Trekkers can explore high pastures, interact with local communities, and enjoy breathtaking views of Shani Peak (5,887 m) and other Karakoram giants.
This trek is ideal for those who want natural beauty and cultural exploration without venturing into remote glacier expeditions.
