Overview
Paju Peak (6,371 m) rises high above the Paiju campsite — a famous resting spot along the Baltoro Glacier trek toward Concordia and K2. Its distinctive pyramidal profile dominates the skyline and offers one of the most accessible 6000m climbing challenges in the Karakoram.
From its summit, climbers enjoy panoramic views of the Cathedral Towers, Trango Towers, Uli Biaho, Broad Peak, and the great Baltoro Glacier winding beneath them.
The climb involves glacier approach, establishing a base camp near Paiju, and then alpine-style ascents via snow, ice, and mixed terrain. For climbers preparing for 7000m+ peaks or seeking a shorter expedition in the Karakoram, Paju Peak offers the perfect balance of challenge and reward.
With Johnson Expedition, you’ll combine the classic Baltoro trek with an exciting alpine summit attempt — making this one of the most memorable 6000m climbs in Pakistan.
